SMD Announces Upgrade

SMD Software, maker of SiteLink Web Edition for Portable Storage, had announced a major upgrade to increase the bottom lines of operators. The new version includes National Promotion Management and a full-featured Online Module. The new Promo features let users create and track advertising campaigns. Operators can target regions or customers groups and national accounts. Web Edition manages advertising campaigns and custom discounts plans. Users create plans by combining specials on merchandise, rent, or other charges. SiteLink tracks ZIP code taxation, long-distance moves, mileage-based transportation charges, and ZIP code-based territory management. The new Online Module allows a facility’s Web site or call center to quote, calculate transportation charges, track marketing sources, schedule deliveries, and lease units.
