Coverage is underwritten by Travelers Insurance and can be written in all states. The product is available through any independent insurance agency. “Traditional self-storage and moving and storage insurance programs are not designed to handle the unique exposures of the mobile self-storage industry,” says Tom Laden, program manager of StorageFirst. “During our marketing research, we interviewed mobile self-storage operators and reviewed their insurance programs.
