SAM Lends A Hand

Just as runners throughout Greater Hartford were preparing for the CT Race in the Park on Mother’s Day weekend, Hartford, Conn.-based Amodio Moving & Storage employees were preparing SAM Store and Move containers for some behind-the-scenes action. As part of the campaign “SAM Lends a Hand,” Amodio’s Pickup And Deliver Storage division donated containers to manage race logistics along the course.

“Many people don’t realize the logistics behind an event like the CT Race in the Park,” says Joyce G. Bray, president of The Connecticut Breast Health Initiative, Inc. “The Store and Move containers make our jobs much easier. We really appreciate the time and resources Amodio Moving & Storage has dedicated to our organization.”

“This was a great opportunity for our company to give back to the Greater Hartford community,” says Adam C. Amodio, SAM director of business development. “In addition to the Store and Move containers that we donated, more than 43 of our employees and their families participated in the race events.”
